Acupuncture

Acupuncture gets results!  In a national survey of patients receiving acupuncture:

  • 91.5% reported "disappearance" or "improvement" of symptoms after acupuncture treatment.
  • 79% said they used less prescription drugs.
  • 70% of those to whom surgery had been recommended said they avoided it.1

Traditional acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles at specific points to influence the body' s internal organs, systems and physiological functions.  One might think of these needles as switches to open blockages and balance the circulation of energy.

There are a wide variety of styles and forms of acupuncture.  Besides traditional needles, acupuncture points can be stimulated painlessly with lasers, light emitting diodes, electricity, heat, ultrasound, partial vacuum, pressure, magnets or bioelectomagnetic therapy.
